Why use a spade anchor?

Your anchor is the main component that holds your boat securely in place and must be able to be quickly lowered into the sea to immediately provide a safe anchorage for the vessel and crew.

Our Spade anchor has a ground point that supports 50% of the total anchor weight. This means that the anchor always falls to the seabed in the correct position and immediately begins to dig in as soon as it touches the bottom. Even before the anchor line pulls on it, the anchor is already digging in. The more ground and weighted the point, the easier it is for the anchor to penetrate the bottom.
