The Smart BatteryProtect disconnects the battery from non-essential consumers before it is completely discharged (which would damage the battery) or before there is no longer enough energy to start the engine.

When programming the Smart BatteryProtect via Bluetooth, any switch-on and switch-off level can be set. Alternatively, one of nine predefined switch-on and switch-off levels can be selected via the programming pin (see manual).

If necessary, Bluetooth can be deactivated.

The Smart BatteryProtect is a unidirectional device. It can only handle power in one direction, either power to a load or power from a charger, but not both at the same time. In addition, power can only flow from the IN port to the OUT port. When used with a load, the battery is connected to the IN port, and when used with a charger, the charger is connected to the IN port.
