Circumnavigation / Phase 1 - Buying a boat

Phase 1:

We are planning to sail around the world on a 40-46 foot monohull boat. We have not yet decided which hull material we will choose - aluminum, steel or GRP.

We are also still discussing whether to have a deck saloon or not. What is certain, however, is that the boat should be a reliable and safe companion on our journey and in the best possible condition. We also want to have enough space on board to be able to take friends, family and supporters with us on individual stages.

The supporter who donated the most in Phase 1 or Phase 2 will receive the sailboat as a gift in Phase 4.
