Our watermakers are easy to use, known in the nautical sector for their robustness and reliability and are the preferred choice of yacht owners and sailors.

Thanks to this system, the motors work independently of each other, without activating an electric clutch or manually handling the pulleys. Like all Dessalator products, the DUO is 100% reliable and safe.
For more than 10 years, the DUO 60 and DUO 100 have been installed in series by major shipyards and are the preferred choice of sailors.

The advantage of the DUO is its “2-in-1” character, as if two watermakers were available that function optimally and sensibly.

For example: When there is no wind and the engine is running, direct current (at 12 or 24 V) is available and should be used (DUO 60: 370 W, DUO 100: 600 W).
At anchor, when the generator is running, the watermaker can be operated with alternating current (230 V).

Its low consumption (DUO 60: 5A, DUO 100: 6.5A) allows the entire charging power to be used for charging the batteries and other purposes (e.g. hot water boiler).

Only the hull valve with strainers is supplied as standard. The remaining valves can be supplied on request, as the drain pipes are usually connected to existing drains and the fresh water connections often have their own shut-off valve.
